My book

Well here is my book for Graphic Novels!!

1.) The time period of my graphic novel is set in modern times where no one really believes in magick at all. The pictures show that the characters are wearing 90's to 2000's clothing. Mostly in the 2000's. It takes place mostly during the night, but there are some scenes where daytime is also a setting as well.

2.) My character, Harry Dresden, is a wizard of some kind that deals with mystical and "the weird" as what they call it in the book. Harry has the ideals that he needs to protect the innocence of the human race. In this time period, even fifty years ago, what Harry does is qualified as the not normal, which would consist of killing "bastard demons". And the public can not know about the things that really lurk in the darkness or about Harry Dresden.

3.)The time period for my book within the story by letting people know that even in modern days there are still things that they don't understand or know about. Since the setting is in Chicago, the time period pretty much moves the plot along very easily; like when Dresden and his friend are running from a Hell Dog, people on the sidewalk don't seem to know what is going on, and they really don't stop Dresden to ask questions. If it was set in a different time period Harry Dresden would have been shunned by society and labled as a Satan Worshiper. The author chose this time period because he wanted to show that even in modern times that there can be majick.
